The Shadowlands addon answers a question that many World of Warcraft players have been asking for years - it allows us find out where the orc Mankirk is married.
The Shadowlands add-on answers "where is Mankirk’s wife?"
This is a reference for a perplexing quest that could have been completed in World of Warcraft.
Shadowlands appears to have solved one of the oldest "riddles” in World of Warcraft. It answers the question "Where is Mankirk’s wife?" This is the task where players had to find the other half of an orc who had been separated from her by dramatic events.
This quest was notorious for its difficulty. It took place in a large Barrens location. At that time there were no quest markers so it was difficult to find the right place. In the general chat, many players wanted to know the exact location of Olga (that was her nickname).
It is worth noting, however, that Mankirk never found Mankirk's wife. The player character found a body and informed the orc about it, not being 100% certain that it was the one he wanted. The quest was removed completely from the game in the Cataclysm Supplement, and it seemed like that was the end.
The player can only find the body of an Orc woman.
After several years, Shadowlands has shed new light on the matter. The player can now find Olga at one of the locations in the afterlife. She is found in a place where she fights the undead for eternity. This suggests that Mankirk's spouse was not just a victim but also a fierce fighter. In World of Warcraft, everyone after death goes to a location that suits his character and nature, for better or worse.
