Blizzard began to modify Shadowlands, a new feature introduced in World of Warcraft. The developers took the feedback from the community into consideration and made a few changes to the Torghast prison building.
World of Warcraft Shadowlands may not have been the greatest revolution in WoW's history, but it was welcomed with enthusiasm when it was first introduced. The prison tower Torghast is an unusual raid that makes the game a de facto roguelike. After some time, complaints about this activity began to spread. Blizzard decided to fix Torghast with numerous updates and hotfixes, which were released in recent days.
While the concept of Torghast is appealing to most players, it's marred by three problems. The trips to the tower are too slow and not very lucrative, especially since we only get rewards after killing the last boss. Some of the Anima powers, which act as modifiers, were removed during beta testing. This makes it harder to find interesting upgrades. There are also complaints about Torghast's difficulty. However, even after the introduction of more challenging floors to the tower, there is still a lot of dissonance. It is difficult to determine if Torghast is too difficult or too easy for players.
These problems seem to be solved (at least partially) by the changes made by Blizzard. The developers have decreased the enemies' health and the damage they do. The current level 8 is an improvement on the former level 6. They also changed the cool-down time for important abilities, such as spells, and added a reset to this. After reaching the next level. This will make your quest through Torghast quicker and less time-consuming.
The same applies to the reduced stealth time of Deadsoul Stalkers (from 30-seconds to 15 seconds) as well as a few other enemy weakenings. Unnatural Power no longer makes bosses invulnerable against crowd control effects (i.e. This makes it more difficult for them to take part in battle when they have cumulated the spell ten times. Certain abilities' activation times have been extended, as well as the interval between magic by sorcerers under Empowered. Blizzard also makes it easier to play with groups (less damage and health for mobs).
Blizzard does not want Thorgast renamed as "Boreghast", as some have suggested.
The Anima system has also been affected by these changes. The game will offer a wider range of powers, and there will be a greater chance that Anima cells will fall out after killing enemies. In the second case, we will be able to choose from at most three modifiers provided that we have killed a rare creature. This should reduce randomness and allow players to prepare for the clash against the boss without having to grind.
This is just one of the changes made by the developers over the past few days. Blizzard also worked on polishing other aspects of the game. Some of the issues mentioned in the entry have not been solved by developers (e.g. the difficult passage of Torghast when you use certain classes). This might be fixed in future updates. The forum post mentioned that some of these may not be released until today. You can find the complete list of modifications made in the last few days at this link.
